Will this white marble turn yellow outdoors?

Royal White is highly durable. To prevent any discoloration caused by environmental factors or iron oxidation, you must use a high-quality, non-yellowing penetrating sealer and ensure the stone is installed with white thinset.

How do I calculate the number of corner pieces needed?

Because these are XL panels, each piece covers 9 inches of vertical height. Measure your total corner height in inches and divide by 9. (Example: An 8-foot wall is 96 inches. 96 / 9 = ~11 pieces). Always round up to the nearest whole number.

Do these corners require grout?

No. Like the rest of the RockMount collection, these are designed for a grout-less installation. The interlocking "Z" shape hides the transition between the corner and the flat panel for a dry-stacked masonry look.

What is the best adhesive for these heavy XL marble corners?

Due to the weight and height of the XL marble, we recommend a High-Bond, Polymer-Modified Large Format Tile (LFT) Thinset in white. This provides the "grab" necessary to hold the heavy panels in place during installation.

INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE TIPS

• Bottom-Up Installation: Always start your corner installation at the base and work upward. Alternate the orientation of the "L" (long side left, then long side right) to stagger the vertical joints.

• Back-Buttering: For heavy marble corners, "back-butter" the tile (apply a thin layer of mortar to the back of the stone) to ensure a 100% permanent bond.

• Avoid Acid: Never use acidic cleaners on Royal White Marble. Use only pH-neutral stone cleaners to keep the white surface crisp and bright.

• Sealing: Apply a high-quality impregnating sealer to protect the stone from dust, soot (if used on a fireplace), and moisture.
