What makes Thassos White different from other white marbles like Carrara?
Unlike Carrara or Calacatta, which are famous for their gray or gold veining, Thassos is prized for its lack of veining. It is a much "whiter" stone with a crystalline texture that looks like compressed sugar, whereas most other marbles have a more "milky" or "cloudy" appearance.
Does Thassos Marble stay cool?
Yes. Thassos is famous for its high thermal mass and reflectivity, meaning it stays significantly cooler than other stones. This has made it a historical favorite for Mediterranean architecture and high-end spas.
What grout should be used with 24x24 Thassos?
To achieve a seamless, monolithic look, we highly recommend a Bright White grout. Because the tiles are large-format, using a matching white grout will make the floor appear to be one solid piece of marble.

While stunning, a 24x24 polished tile is very slippery when wet. We recommend this size for shower walls or dry bathroom floors. For shower floors, we suggest a Thassos mosaic to provide the necessary slip resistance.

Your order will be carefully packaged in a protective crate and delivered to your location via common freight carrier.

Daily Cleaning & Surface Care

- Professional Sealing: A high-quality penetrating sealer must be applied upon installation. For high-traffic areas or kitchen backsplashes, re-sealing is recommended every 6–12 months to maintain a moisture barrier.
